C30: Complex general surgery
What is Ward C30?
On Ward C30 we look after patients who have had complex surgery. Patients often come to us after they have been in intensive care.
We care for people after operations on their small or large bowels. We also care for patients after surgery on other parts of the digestive system.
The team carries out checks, supports recovery, and gives the treatment each patient needs.
Staff work to keep people safe, comfortable, and well‑supported during their stay.
They also help plan any follow‑up care, tests, or treatment that may be needed after the patient leaves the ward.
