Dr Sheila Msami Kay

Dr Msami Kay is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

An Obstetrician looks after women during pregnancy, childbirth and after birth. A Gynaecologist treats conditions affecting the uterus, ovaries and vagina. 

Her specialist interests include urogynaecology (problems with the pelvic floor, bladder and vagina), obstetric perineal trauma (tears or injuries to the perineum during childbirth), Female Genital Mutation (a harmful and illegal practice where a girl's or woman's genitals are cut, removed or injured) and pyschosexual disorders (problems that affect how a person feels about relationships).

Dr Msami Kay is a member of the International Urogynaecology Association (IUGA), International Continence Society (ICS), British Society of Urogynaecologist (BSUG), and UK Continence Society (UKCS).
