Phoenix Unit

What is Phoenix Unit?

The Phoenix Unit is the Trust’s Chemotherapy, Haematology and Infusion Day Unit.

The team cares for people who need cancer treatment or other infusions and supports patients with a wide range of health needs.

They provide safe treatment, close monitoring and kind, patient‑centred care to help each person feel comfortable and supported.

Chemotherapy can be given in the hospital, at home or through the outreach service at Washington Primary Care Centre, depending on what suits the patient best.

Staff work with patients and their families to guide them through their treatment and plan any follow‑up care that may be needed.

Where can I find Phoenix Unit?
