It cares for people who need surgery for sudden or ongoing health problems.
The team checks each patient, supports their recovery, and gives the treatment they need.
Staff work to keep people safe, comfortable, and well‑supported during their stay.
They also help plan any follow‑up care, tests, or treatment needed after the patient leaves the ward.
Where can I find Ward C31?
Ward C31 is located on C Floor of Sunderland Royal Hospital.
You can reach it from the main entrance on Kayll Road by using the lifts or the main stairs.
Follow the signs from the main corridor to find the ward.
