Dr Nick Matthews

Dr Matthews is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

An Obstetrician looks after women during pregnancy, childbirth and after birth. A Gynaecologist treats conditions affecting the uterus, ovaries and vagina. 

He is Oncology (cancer) and Colposcopy Lead for the Trust. A Colposcopist uses a special tool to check the cervix, which is the opening to the uterus.  

Dr Matthews has worked at STSFT since 2014. He has an interest in minimally invasive and robotic gynaecological surgery.

His GMC number is 6134968.
