Alison King – Director of Performance
Alison has worked in the NHS since 2001. She first worked at Durham and Chester-le-Street Primary Care Group and then County Durham Primary Care Trust. She worked on the development and commissioning of primary care services.
In 2008 she joined the North East Strategic Health Authority. Here she worked on the development of the regional primary care strategy. She was also involved in the development of national policy around primary care.
She started working in Sunderland in 2010. She was then made Director of Performance across South Tyneside and Sunderland.
