Mr Maged Habib

Mr Habib is a Consultant Ophthalmologist.

An Ophthalmologist looks after eyes. 

He specialises in the retina. The retina is the thin, light‑sensitive layer at the back of the eye.  

Mr Habib is Co-Clinical Lead for the Diabetic Retinopathy screening programme and is the Research Lead for Sunderland Eye Infirmary. He is also a Visiting Professor at Newcastle University's Bisciences Institute
