Mr Alan Cooney

Mr Cooney is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon.

A Trauma Surgeon treats people who are seriously injured in accidents or emergencies. An Orthopaedic Surgeon operates on bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves. 

He has a specialist interest in shoulder and elbow conditions as well as general trauma. 

Mr Cooney is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Specialty Training Committee representative and is a member of both the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
