Dr Tony Rostron

Dr Rostron is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Intensive Care Medicine at Newcastle University.

He is also an Honorary Consultant in Anaesthesics and Intensive Care. A Consultant in Anaesthesics gives patients medicines that help them sleep safely during operations. A Consultant in Intensive Care looks after the most poorly patients.  

Dr Rostron is the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) specialty group lead for Critical Care medicine research in the North East and North Cumbria. 

His GMC number is 4766522.
