Sonia Atkinson - Director of Workforce and Organisational Development
Sonia is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. She has over 30 years’ experience of working in HR and OD. Most of her career has been within the NHS – an organisation she is proud to serve.
Sonia has worked in mental health, primary care, as well as acute and community services. She has a deep appreciation of the people who make the NHS what it is. She believes that supporting staff, creates the right conditions for the best patient care.
The NHS has shaped her career and values. She wants to help colleagues feel supported, valued and able to thrive at work.
Sonia cares about improving staff experience in the NHS and helping people to lead with compassion. She prides herself on leading with kindness, honesty and doing the right thing for staff and patients.
