Ward 8 cares for older people.

It cares for people with a wide range of medical conditions that may affect their heart, lungs, kidneys, or other organs.

The team supports patients with conditions like frailty, dementia, delirium and long‑term illness.

Staff work to keep people safe, comfortable, and well‑supported during their stay.

Where can I find Ward 8?

Ward 8 is located on the second floor of the Ingham Wing and can be accessed via the lifts or stairs near the hospital’s main entrance.
