Mr Jan Luigi Marciniak

Mr Maciniak is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.

An Orthopaedic Surgeon operates on bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves. 

He has a specialist interest in revision (re-do) surgery and complex hip and knee replacement, as well as hip resurfacing and young adult hip replacement. He also performs day-case replacements and knee arthroscopy (camera in the knee). 

Mr Marciniak is also an examiner for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and is  Arthroplasty (replacements) Lead. He is also the Orthopaedic Surgical Site Infection Prevention Lead and is a principle investigator for research studies.
