Dr Prashant Kumar

Dr Kumar is a Paediatrician.

A Paediatrician looks after babies, children and teenagers. 

He is the Lead for the Sunderland Allergy and Respiratory Service. 

Dr Kumar has served on many groups and committees and was the Chair of the Northern Paediatric Allergy Group. 

He won the ‘Team Allergy UK Hero’ Award in 2016 and the ‘Hospital Doctor of the year’ in Best of Health Awards in 2014, was a finalist in the Bright Ideas in Health Awards in 2016 and won second prize at the Bright Ideas in Health Awards in 2019.
