Our children’s wards provide hospital care for all babies, children and young people from a few days old up to the age of 16 who are unwell or injured.
We can also sometimes look after older for children with special circumstances. Babies, children and young people will be admitted and will stay overnight.
They are cared for by our team of doctors, nurses, health care assistants and hospital play specialists.
We’ve made sure that everything we do helps to make a hospital stay as comfortable as possible. We have a play room and activities including a teen area on the ward to create a relaxed, calm environment for children, young people and their families.
