We provide a nursing service for children age 0-19 years.

We care for children and young people with short and long term health needs in their home.

Our job is to:

  • Help children leave hospital earlier so they can be cared for at home

  • Prevent children being admitted to hospital when they don't need to

  • Reduce the number of outpatient appointments needed

  • Act as a link between the community, hospitals and all other agencies involved with the family

  • Assess the physical, emotional and social needs of the child and family. We know everyone is different

  • Teach and support families with skills and knowledge to help them to be cared for in the community

  • Talk to children and their families about how to live a healthy lifestyle
