Roy McLachlan
Roy joined the Board in 2022. He has been a member of the Board at Haven Court since 2018.
Roy had a successful career for more than 40 years. He had lots of senior roles including Chief Executive of four NHS statutory bodies. This includes South Tynside Primary Care Trust and Priority Health Wearside NHS Trust.
He has a lot of experience as a Trustee in the non-profit, voluntary and community sector. He started with the Community Foundation for Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, then as Chair for St Oswald’s Hospital for six years. Roy joined Age UK, Sunderland in 2017.
