Martin Knowles
Martin joined the Board in 2022. He is a former a non-executive director at Northumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
He has a lot of experience at Board level. He was Chief Executive at South Tyneside Homes and Four Housing Group. He was also Director of Finance at North Tyneside and North Tees General Hospitals.
Martin has also been Vice Chair of Audit at Sunderland City Council and Tyne and Wear Fire Service.
Martin was appointed as Non-Executive Director at County Durham at Darlington NHS Foundation Trust in December 2025.
