Allison Thompson – Chair
Allison became Chair of the Trust in April 2022. She first joined the Board of South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust in 2012 and then again in 2015. She became a non-executive director at South Tyneside and Sunderland in 2018.
Allison has had a successful career for 24 years. She has strong business, commercial and marketing knowledge. She had executive jobs as Chief Operating Officer and HR Director at North Rock.
